On Monday, CPS students, families, board members, volunteers, faculty and staff gathered in the auditorium to work on projects to help homeless families. Students raised over $300 to provide supplies, and over 100 people worked putting together toiletry packets for children and their moms, making knot blankets, and sorting donated books and clothes, all of which were donated to Eliza Shirley House.
CPS celebrated two big occasions this week - Valentine's Day and the 100th day of school! Students worked on crafts from valentines to 100th Day of School crowns.

With the snowy season already upon us, the kindergarten class has taken it upon themselves to create a set of winter rules. From snowball fight etiquette to protecting little siblings, this class is ready for a safe and happy winter!
Last Sunday, 10 CPS students joined over 200 other kids in attending After School Activities Partnerships' MLK Family Chess Day at the African American Museum of Philadelphia! The students spent the day playing chess, touring the museum and enjoying snacks and exciting raffle prizes.
