First Grade Gets Up Close and Personal with Aquatic Life

Last week, the first grade class had a fantastic time visiting the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. The field trip was a great tie-in with their Animal Unit.

Not only did the first-graders get to view a whole host of animals in the aquarium, they also had the opportunity to touch jellyfish, rays, sharks, and sea stars!

The students also attended a habitat class at the aquarium. They had the opportunity to see (and touch!) several different animals as they learned about their homes and environments.
