Welcome from the Head of School

Community Partnership School (CPS) is a coeducational, Pre-K through 5th grade independent school located in the heart of Philadelphia. Currently in our seventh year, we’re emboldened by our sustained growth and excited to be a part of the revitalization taking place here in inner-city Philadelphia. As we continue to grow, we are committed to serving more families, particularly those from neighborhoods that traditionally have not accessed independent schools, and crafting a program that carefully nurtures the hopes that loving parents and guardians naturally hold for their children.

So what specifically is CPS about? Our efforts are focused on shaping confident, capable scholars who are responsible and resilient. When 5th grade is complete, our students are positioned for success in middle schools that match their individual abilities and needs. We strive to fulfill all this in close partnership with the parents and guardians who have entrusted their children to us, the many benefactors and agents that sustain our program, and the community in North Central Philly in which we are located.
