Wednesday, May 22nd, 6:30 pm: Young Friends of CPS Informational Meeting at Philadelphia Financial Offices - all who are 18-35 and interested are welcome! (One Liberty - 1650 Market Street, 54th Floor)

Friday, May 24th, 11am - 2:30 pm: Field Day at Smith Playground & Playhouse (3500 Reservoir Drive in East Fairmount Park, just above Kelly Drive near 33rd and Oxford Streets)

Thursday, May 30th, 8 - 9:30 am: A Taste of CPS Informational Breakfast, at CPS

Tuesday, June 11th, 5 - 6 pm: Commencement, at CPS

 

 

Wednesday, May 22nd:  Young Friends of CPS

We've received such a great response from those of you who attended the CPS Young Friends event at the Union League last month...so much so that we've decided to host another, less formal meeting about the school, our Young Friends group and ways you can get involved.
 
We plan to discuss our Board's immediate needs and also think long-term about events, fundraising, and volunteer efforts that we can undertake to support the CPS students, families and staff. We'll also let you know about a breakfast at the school on May 30th where Young Friends (new and old!) and other interested parties can tour the school and get inspired by the work they do.
 
To access the Philadelphia Financial offices, security must have your name in advance, so please RSVP to youngfriends@cpsphilly.org if you plan to attend.
 
We hope you will join us on the 22nd and look forward to seeing you then!

Friday, May 24th, 11:00 - 2:30: Field Day at Smith Playground & Playhouse

 
 
 
Community Partnership School's annual Field Day for our students in PK - 5th grade is a fun day of teamwork, games, and sportsmanship! Each year we need volunteers who enjoy working with kids to help run field day events (an obstacle course, tug-of-war, egg and spoon races, a cheer-off, and more). We have enough volunteers for this year, but keep us in mind for next spring!
