"An Affair to Remember" Proves Unforgettable

Over 100 Community Partnership School students, families and staff packed the auditorium for the glamorous and fun "An Affair to Remember"-- a formal dinner and dance gala that has become a popular new tradition at the school. Organized by After School Director Lynette Rembert and first grade teacher Takiyah Harris, the party channeled the red carpet as guests came dressed in tuxedos and beautiful gowns. The event provided an opportunity for staff and families to spend time together and celebrate a successful school year at CPS. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner and both children and adults showed their skills on the dance floor as the DJ played dance songs like, "Cupid Shuffle" and "Cha Cha Slide." What a fun evening!
